Q: What are the admission requirements for Mountain Kids Discovery?
A: In order to enroll at Mountain Kids Discovery, your child must be up to date on their vaccinations (see list of required vax in PDF below) and be fully potty-trained. To us, fully potty-trained means the ability to go to the bathroom without being asked and little assistance. Additionally, we require a completed enrollment form and payment of enrollment fees.
Q: What is the curriculum like at Mountain Kids Discovery?
A: At Mountain Kids Discovery, we have a play-based curriculum that is designed to encourage exploration, creativity, and socialization. We focus on building a strong foundation in language and math while also incorporating art and music into our daily activities.
Q: What sets Mountain Kids Discovery apart from other schools?
A: At Mountain Kids Discovery, we are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Our experienced teacher uses a unique blend of play-based and academic-based learning to create a well-rounded education for each child. Your child will have his/her own goals that accommodate where they are in their own learning journey. Our facility is recognized as a top private school in our area.
Q: Do you accept State assistance or scholarships?
A: We do not accept state assistance at this time. Occasionally, we do have scholarships available for summer camps.
Q: What if my child is not three years old by the start date?
A: If your child is within a few months of the cut off, they may get accepted under special circumstance when he/she turns three years old. This contingency is based on class size among other things.
