0-3 Monthly Playgroup
Join us for our free, monthly playgroup designed for children ages 0-3 years old from September to May! Our playgroups offer a fun and safe environment where children can socialize and learn while parents and caregivers connect and make new friends. Experience the of our vibrant community and enjoy quality time with your little. Preschool 2026-2027
A warm, nurturing environment where little learners grow through play, exploration, and meaningful connections. We focus on building confidence, social skills, and a love for learning. Enrollment opens May 1st at 8 AM. Please message me if the form is turned off to see if you can get on the waiting list. Class sizes are approximately 12 students. The preschool class will accommodate a mixed group of three to five year old students. Full time students will be enrolled Monday through Friday from 8-330. Tuition is a flat rate of $800/month. After School Program 2026-2027
MKD provides a safe, supportive space for students to unwind, learn, and have fun after the school day ends. Each afternoon begins with a healthy snack to refuel growing bodies, followed by dedicated homework time where students can get help and stay on track. After that, we offer a variety of engaging activities like art, games, playground time, or one of their favorites - going to the "mountain" near MKD. We wrap up the day with plenty of time for free play and socializing with friends. It's a balanced mix of structure, creativity, and fun.
Group size is approximately 12 students. Harlow's Bus Service transports to the facility from Libby Elementary School on bus #2. The program runs from Monday through Friday. We are open until 5:30 PM most days. If there is no public school or it is an early out day, our day ends at 3:30 PM. Tuition is $250 per month for the first child, plus $200 per month for those after first child. Monthly tuition includes early outs and no school days. If you need less than 3 days a week, you can opt for a $20 daily fee for periodic after school care (330-530), $30 for public half day after school care (1230-330), and $40 for full day no public school care (8AM-330PM) (this option is pre-paid monthly. Summer Program 2026
Join us for an engaging summer filled with learning, creativity, and adventure! Our program is designed to keep kids active, social, and growing all summer long. The program will run from May 26 to September 4. MKD will be open from 8 AM to 5 PM daily. Mrs. Kira, Mrs. Cierra, and Mrs. Kayla are the program teachers. Our program capacity is 12 students and we will be attempting to fill those with preschoolers (age 4+) and early elementary (k-3) before opening it up to other age groups. Monthly themes include: Patriotic, Ocean, and Carnival. Each theme is packed with hands-on activities, crafts, games, and learning experiences your child will love! Weekly field trips include: Farmer's Market, Library, Parks, and Community Kid Events. Tuition - the program fee will be $800 per month (due June 1, July 1, and August 1). We offer a summer program payment plan of $450 per month for 6 months (beginning June 1). Students will have to pack daily lunches and snacks.
Flexible Enrollment Option
If space allows after full-time enrollment, month-to-month spots may become available. This is perfect for families needing short-term care or looking to add extra fun and social time to their child's routine. Please note: month-to-month enrollment is not eligible for the payment plan. Kindergarten Readiness camp (ages 4-6): Stay focused on academics that were learned in preschool without falling down the summer slide. If a student has not attended preschool, this camp would refine the student's basic skills to prepare for the Fall. Form below:
Princess Camp (No scheduled camps at this time)
Princess camp (ages 4-7): Your child will learn all about her favorite princess, practice true princess etiquette, and create take-home princess crafts. Campers will bake goods and learn basic food safety while preparing for a princess tea party. Form below:

Book Study + Journalism Camp (No scheduled camps at this time)
Book study + Journalism camp (ages 9-12): Do you have a kid that loves to read? Maybe one that needs a bit more practice and accountability? Campers will be assigned a level-appropriate novel where we will come together as a group to revisit the story. We will use teamwork activities and journalism prompts to assist in stronger comprehension and writing skills. Form below:
Economics Camp (No scheduled camps at this time)
Economics camp (high school): This camp is currently not on our 2023 schedule, but please message me if you are interested. We just need a group of 5 or more! Give young adults skills to thrive in the adult world. Students will learn how to balance checkbooks, learn about interest rates and debt, and play the real game of Life. Form below:
Living on the Mountain Camp (No scheduled camps at this time)
Living on the Mountain Camp (ages 6-12): Learn about the trial and error ways of living off the land. Campers will learn the gardening process, use teamwork to build a shelter, and how to dress a wound. Form below:

$100 per child per camp is due after you fill out the google document. If you do not know your summer plans for sure, please do NOT fill out the document. Your spot will not be held if document and payment are not received together. You will receive an enrollment confirmation after you have completed the process.
Tot School (No scheduled camps at this time)
Tot School Camp (ages 2-3 ***Must be 2 by January 1 of this year): Brand new to Mountain Kids Discovery last Summer - introducing tot school! Tot school is designed for up to six kiddos between 2-3 years old that will thrive in an education setting. Tot school is about early literacy, colors, shapes, spatial awareness, motor skills, and emotional connectedness. This hands-on camp is a great introduction to others tots in our area and prepares them for the journey of being life-long learners.
