Meet the Teacher

Hello
Hello!
My name is Cierra Wicka (Stehlik). I was born and raised in Libby, Montana until my sophomore year in high school when my family moved to Post Falls, Idaho.
After I graduated high school, I moved back to Libby to help with my dad's family business. Over time, I started a family of my own. I have three amazing boys named Remington (9), Benson (7), and Cannon (1). I am expecting my last baby in July 2026.
My dream of working to provide for my family while being able to raise my babies is the driving force behind why I created Mountain Kids Discovery.
Educational Experience
Here is a little about me and my teaching experience:
2001: My teaching career started at 7 years old, when my younger sister was summoned to play "school".
2007: My love for teaching expanded when I applied for the LES After School Program and was accepted as a student mentor.
2012: After I graduated from Post Falls High School, I moved back to my home town Libby, Montana. I started at Lincoln County Community College to obtain my Associates Degree.
2014: My last semester at LCC was rewarded with a summer teaching opportunity in Minas Gerais, Brazil where I taught English to high school students. In the fall of 2014, after returning from Brazil, I began working at Kasie's Childcare and Learning Center. I simultaneously began my Bachelor's Degree in Education at Western Governors University.
2015: Learning Tree Montessori was created and I successfully ran the school until 2018 when I had my second child.
2017: I student taught with Lacie Farmer in a Kindergarten classroom at Libby Elementary School. My Bachelor's Degree in Education was completed in November 2017.
2019: Mountain Kids Discovery was founded!
